Yes, JNM Supports is a Registered NDIS Provider. Our provider number is 405 339 2532

Using the principles of positive behaviour support, a behaviour support practitioner aims to improve quality of life, reduce behaviours of concern, such as physical or verbal aggression.

We develop communication and social skills, train support workers and family members using non-aversive techniques outlined in a tailored behaviour support plan.

We assess and provide reports where family members or staff have concerns for a participant.

We provide services across the lifespan.

Behaviours of concern can vary substantially from person to person. At JNM Supports we build individualised support plans that assist with communication and skill development. Types of behaviours we can help with include verbal aggression, physical aggression, self-injury behaviours and behaviours that result from psycho-social disorders such schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorders, oppositional defiance disorders, pathological demand avoidance.

In most cases, our practitioners come directly to you. Sessions can take place in your home, at school, within a day program, or in any environment where behaviours of concern are occurring. When appropriate, and only if it suits the participant’s needs, we may also offer telehealth sessions for training or program implementation.

Yes. As Behaviour Support Practitioners, part of our role is to assess a participant’s needs, goals, and daily challenges. When appropriate, we can prepare comprehensive reports that outline the evidence required for an NDIS funding review.
